
INFORMED CONSENT FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY AND PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
This document details the informed consent for psychological services offered in this practice by psychologist Lorena Aguirre Cadarso, registered with the Official College of Psychologists of Madrid under number M-34099. The services include psychological therapy, counseling, and psychosocial support, with the aim of providing a safe space to work on emotional and mental well-being. I use a humanistic, trauma-informed, and resilience-oriented approach, incorporating techniques from somatic, energetic, and positive psychology.
1. Consent for the Processing of Personal Data
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and the guarantee of digital rights, the client is informed that their personal data will be processed for administrative management, psychological treatment planning, and other uses directly related to psychological care.
By signing this document, the client gives their free, specific, informed, and unequivocal consent for the processing of their personal data, understanding that all necessary measures will be taken to protect their privacy and rights.
2. Informed Consent for Psychological Therapy
By Law 41/2002, of November 14, on client autonomy and rights and obligations regarding information and clinical documentation, all relevant information about the therapeutic process, including goals, techniques, possible benefits, and risks, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time, has been provided.
The client gives their free, voluntary, and informed consent to participate in the therapeutic process and acknowledges that they have been informed in an understandable manner about the approach and methods that will be used.
3. Client Rights

Confidentiality: All information shared during sessions is confidential, except in cases required by law to report to authorities.

Access, Rectification, and Deletion of Data: The client has the right to request access to, correction, and deletion of their personal data at any time.

Withdrawal of Consent: The client may withdraw their consent for psychological treatment and/or data processing at any time by notifying the mental health professional in writing.
4. Risks and Benefits
The treatment may enhance emotional well-being and strengthen relationships, although it may also bring up intense emotions or painful memories. These effects are normal and are part of the therapeutic process.
